Carta Kawalan Purata Bergerak Berbobot Eksponen
Carta kawalan purata bergerak berbobot eksponen (EWMA), yang diperkenalkan oleh S. W. Roberts pada tahun 1959, memantau proses menggunakan purata berbobot yang memberikan cerapan terbaharu pemberat paling tinggi sambil membiarkan cerapan lama pudar secara geometri. Seperti CUSUM, memori ini menjadikannya sangat berkesan dalam mengesan anjakan kecil yang berterusan dalam min proses, dengan satu parameter pelicinan λ mengawal berapa banyak maklumat lampau yang disimpan oleh carta.
