Pelifot Arus Doppler Akustik
Pelifot Arus Doppler Akustik (ADCP) ialah suatu instrumen yang menggunakan hamburan balik akustik yang bergeser Doppler untuk mengukur profil halaju air di sepanjang profil menegak. Dibangunkan oleh RD Instruments pada tahun 1980-an, ia telah menjadi kaedah piawai untuk pemrofilan arus resolusi tinggi dalam penyelidikan oseanografi. ADCP menyediakan resolusi spatial dan temporal yang belum pernah berlaku sebelum ini bagi corak peredaran lautan.
