Analisis rangkaian temporal berbobot mengkaji rangkaian yang tepinya membawa bobot numerik — mewakili kekuatan interaksi, kekerapan, atau intensiti — dan yang strukturnya berubah dari semasa ke semasa. Ia menggabungkan perspektif yang berubah mengikut masa bagi analisis rangkaian temporal dengan ketepatan kuantitatif metrik graf berbobot, mendedahkan bukan sahaja bila sambungan wujud tetapi betapa kuatnya ia pada setiap saat.
