The quantitative phase carries greater priority; the qualitative phase is purposefully built around the findings — such as surprising results, outliers, or statistically significant relationships — that need deeper interpretation. | Case study research is a qualitative research design that investigates a specific phenomenon, individual, group, organisation, or event in depth within its real-world context. Systematised by Robert K.
