Bantuan Graviti
Satu manuver bantuan graviti (atau swing-by) menggunakan medan graviti planet atau jasad cakerawala lain untuk mengubah trajektori dan halaju kapal angkasa tanpa menggunakan bahan api. Ditemui oleh Michael Minovitch di JPL pada tahun 1961, teknik ini penting untuk mencapai planet yang jauh secara ekonomi. Ia berfungsi dengan memanfaatkan gerakan relatif antara kapal angkasa, jasad pembantu, dan Matahari.
