Kejelasan Pertuturan
Kejelasan pertuturan ialah ukuran kuantitatif tentang sejauh mana pendengar memahami kandungan lisan dalam persekitaran akustik. Diformalkan oleh Steeneken dan Houtgast pada tahun 1980 dengan Indeks Penghantaran Pertuturan (STI), metrik kejelasan menggabungkan parameter akustik bilik (RT60, hingar, kejelasan) untuk meramal pemahaman pendengar. Memahami kejelasan pertuturan adalah penting untuk mereka bentuk bilik darjah, pejabat, alat bantu dengar, dan sistem pengumuman awam di mana komunikasi yang jelas adalah kritikal.
