DEFUZZ-TYPE-REDUCTION
DEFUZZ-TYPE-REDUCTION (Type Reduction Defuzzification — Karnik-Mendel algorithm for interval type-2 fuzzy sets) is a defuzzification multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method introduced by Karnik, N.N.; Mendel, J.M. in 2001. It turns a decision matrix of alternatives scored on multiple criteria into a structured, reproducible result.
