Analisis Titik Panas menggunakan statistik spasial lokal Getis-Ord Gi* untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi geografis di mana nilai atribut tinggi atau rendah berkumpul bersama pada tingkat yang signifikan secara statistik. Setiap fitur dievaluasi dalam kaitannya dengan tetangganya, menghasilkan skor-z yang menandai titik panas dan titik dingin spasial yang sebenarnya terhadap latar belakang variasi acak.
