Model Keandalan Perangkat Lunak

Model keandalan perangkat lunak memprediksi perilaku laju kegagalan selama pengujian dan operasi, memperkirakan kapan perangkat lunak mencapai target keandalan yang disyaratkan. Diperkenalkan oleh Goel dan Okumoto (1979), model stokastik ini menangkap bagaimana penurunan penemuan cacat seiring kemajuan pengujian. Organisasi menggunakan model keandalan untuk memperkirakan kesiapan rilis, memperkirakan durasi pengujian, dan memvalidasi pencapaian kualitas.
