Value-Added Modeling

Value-Added Modeling (VAM) adalah sebuah metode untuk menilai kontribusi sekolah atau guru terhadap pertumbuhan pencapaian siswa, yang dikembangkan oleh Sanders dan Horn (1998). VAM mengisolasi efek seorang guru atau sekolah dengan membandingkan kenaikan siswa (nilai tambah) sambil mengontrol pencapaian sebelumnya dan karakteristik siswa.
