Bayesian Spatial Autocorrelation embeds spatial dependence directly into a Bayesian hierarchical model. A Conditional Autoregressive (CAR) prior encodes the expectation that neighboring areas are more similar than distant ones, and posterior inference is obtained via MCMC.
