Interaksi Tanah-Struktur

Analisis interaksi tanah-struktur (SSI) memperhitungkan kopling dinamis antara suatu struktur dan tanah fondasi pendukungnya, mengakui bahwa tanah tidaklah tak terhingga kaku. Diformalisasi oleh Veletsos pada tahun 1974, pendekatan ini mengungkapkan bagaimana kepatuhan fondasi, redaman radiasi, dan efek kinematik memodifikasi respons seismik struktur dibandingkan dengan asumsi dasar kaku (fixed-base).
