रिमोट सेंसिंग वर्गीकरण
रिमोट सेंसिंग वर्गीकरण उपग्रह या हवाई छवि में पिक्सेल को उनके वर्णक्रमीय, स्थानिक और लौकिक गुणों के आधार पर असतत विषयगत लेबल—जैसे वन, शहरी, जल या फसल भूमि—निर्धारित करता है। यह स्थानीय से वैश्विक स्तर तक भूमि-उपयोग/भूमि-आवरण मानचित्रण, परिवर्तन का पता लगाने, पर्यावरणीय निगरानी और आपदा प्रतिक्रिया का आधार है।
