זיהוי ארומות ארכיטקטוניות
ארומות ארכיטקטוניות הן תבניות חוזרות במבנה המערכת המעידות על בעיות עיצוביות פוטנציאליות. תבניות אלו, שהוצגו על ידי García et al. (2009), מסמנות הפרות של עקרונות ארכיטקטוניים (מודולריות, עצמאות, הפשטה) בקנה מידה מערכתי. הזיהוי משלב מדדי קוד, ניתוח תלויות וזיהוי תבניות כדי לאתר ארומות בשלב מוקדם, ולהנחות תהליכי ריפקטורינג ושיפורים ארכיטקטוניים.
