FP-growth מקוון הוא הרחבה אינקרמנטלית של אלגוריתם FP-growth הכורה קבוצות פריטים תדירות מזרמי טרנזקציות המגיעים באופן רציף, מבלי לבנות מחדש את עץ ה-FP המלא מאפס. הוא מעדכן מבנה עץ דחוס קיים כאשר טרנזקציות חדשות מגיעות, מה שהופך אותו מתאים לסביבות נתונים בזמן אמת ובמהירות גבוהה, שבהן סריקת מסד נתונים מלאה אינה מעשית.
