מחקר מקרה-ביקורת מקונן מותאם
מחקר מקרה-ביקורת מקונן מותאם הוא תכנון תצפיתי יעיל המשובץ בתוך קוהורט מוגדר. כאשר משתתף מפתח את התוצאה המעניינת (מקרה), נדגמת כמות קטנה של ביקורות מבין אלה שעדיין בסיכון באותו רגע, והן מותאמות למקרה לפי משתנים מרכזיים כגון גיל, מין או זמן קלנדרי. תכנון זה שומר על המבנה הזמני של הקוהורט הבסיסי תוך הפחתה חדה של עלות מדידת החשיפה.
