The NRS is one of the most frequently used pain assessment instruments in clinical practice due to its brevity, ease of administration, and strong psychometric properties across diverse patient populations. | The Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool (BJWAT), originally developed as the Pressure Sore Status Tool, is a comprehensive instrument for objectively assessing pressure ulcer characteristics and monitoring healing progress. Created by Barbara M. Bates-Jensen, the tool evaluates 13 distinct wound dimensions including size, depth, tissue type, and exudate.
