ניתוח סטטי שקול
ניתוח סטטי שקול הוא שיטת התכנון הסייסמי הפשוטה ביותר, המייצגת השפעות רעידת אדמה ככוח רוחבי סטטי יחיד המופעל במרכז המסה או מפוזר לאורך גובה הבניין. השיטה, שתוקננה על ידי SEAOC בשנת 1959 ושולבה בתקני בנייה מודרניים, היא הנפוצה ביותר לתכנון מבנים רגולריים.
