חישוב בייסיאני מקורב עם שגיאת מדידה (ABC-ME) מרחיב את מסגרת ה-ABC הסטנדרטית נטולת פונקציית הנראות לתחומים שבהם הנתונים הנצפים עצמם רועשים או מתועדים באופן לא מדויק. על ידי שילוב מפורש של ליבת שגיאת מדידה בשלב הקבלה, ABC-ME מכוון לפוסטריור הנכון עבור פרמטרי המודל גם כאשר לא ניתן לצפות ישירות בתהליך יצירת הנתונים האמיתי.
