הערכת מצב לאחר אכלוס (Post-Occupancy Evaluation, POE) היא שיטה שיטתית להערכת מידת ההתאמה של בניין שהושלם לצרכים ולציפיות של דייריו, תוך השוואת הביצועים המתוכננים לביצועים בפועל. הפורמליזציה של POE, שנעשתה על ידי Wolfgang Preiser בשנות ה-80, הפכה חיונית ללמידה אילו אסטרטגיות תכנון עובדות, לזיהוי בעיות לתיקון, ולשיפור פרויקטים עתידיים.
