Rasch-mallia hyödyntävä tietokoneavusteinen adaptiivinen testaus valitsee tehtäviä reaaliaikaisesti kunkin vastaajan kehittyvän kykyarvion perusteella siten, että jokainen henkilö saa tarkasti hänen taitotasoonsa kalibroidun testin. Tuloksena on lyhyempi, tehokkaampi mittausväline, joka ei menetä mitään täyspitkän kiinteämuotoisen testin tarkkuudesta.
