TiivistelmäTransfer Learning with Text Summarization adapts a large language model pre-trained on broad text corpora — such as T5, BART, or PEGASUS — to the task of condensing documents into shorter, coherent summaries. By reusing learned linguistic knowledge and fine-tuning on domain-specific pairs of source documents and reference summaries, this approach achieves strong summarization quality with modest labeled data requirements.BERT-based Classification fine-tunes Google's Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers model on a labelled text dataset, replacing the generic pre-trained head with a task-specific classification layer. It exploits deep bidirectional context from hundreds of millions of pre-trained parameters to deliver state-of-the-art accuracy on short- and medium-length text classification tasks with relatively modest amounts of labelled data.
