TiivistelmäLongitudinal reliability analysis evaluates the consistency and stability of measurement instruments across two or more time points. It extends classical reliability concepts — internal consistency, test-retest stability, and measurement precision — to repeated-measures designs, ensuring that observed score changes reflect true change rather than measurement error.Longitudinal item analysis examines how the statistical properties of individual scale items — difficulty, discrimination, factor loadings, and fit — remain stable or change systematically across repeated measurement occasions. It is the item-level foundation of longitudinal measurement validity.
