It asks not only what digital objects mean, but how digital mediation, platform architecture, and computational affordances shape the conditions of meaning itself. The method is prominent in digital humanities, digital history, and media studies. | Discourse analysis is a qualitative research methodology that examines how language, communication, and power shape meaning, identity, and social reality.
