It is a foundational tool in clinical child psychology and psychiatry for screening behavioral/emotional disorders, monitoring treatment response, and research on psychopathology. | The Youth Self-Report (YSR), developed by Thomas Achenbach and Leslie Rescorla, is a youth-completed behavioral rating form assessing emotional and behavioral problems in adolescents aged 11–18 years.
