Rather than relying solely on observed sample data, it incorporates prior knowledge about process parameters — yielding more stable and credible estimates of process capability, especially under small sample sizes common in manufacturing and quality engineering.	Six Sigma DMAIC is a data-driven, five-phase process improvement methodology — Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control — used to reduce defects and process variation to fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities.
