A brief 6-item version provides rapid initial screening. The scale has become standard first-step screening in primary care, occupational medicine, and mental health settings, particularly valuable for identifying undiagnosed ADHD in working-age adults. | The DERS is a 36-item self-report measure assessing multidimensional emotion dysregulation across six related but distinct facets.
