Nopea masennusoireiden inventaario (QIDS)

Nopea masennusoireiden inventaario (QIDS) on 16 kohdan arviointimenetelmä, jonka A. John Rush ja kollegat ovat kehittäneet aikuisten masennusoireiden vakavuuden tehokkaaseen mittaamiseen. Vuonna 2003 Biological Psychiatry -lehdessä julkaistu QIDS on saatavilla sekä itsearviointi- (QIDS-SR) että kliinikon arvioima (QIDS-C) versiona. Se kehitettiin lyhyeksi vaihtoehdoksi pidemmälle, 30 kohdan masennusoireiden inventaariolle (IDS), samalla kun se säilytti kattavan kattavuuden DSM-IV:n mukaisista masennusoireista. QIDS:stä on tullut standardi hoitotutkimusten tulosmittari, erityisesti laajoissa vertailevissa tehokkuustutkimuksissa.
