First published by Ponticas in 2003, it comprises typically 5–7 items measuring global sexual satisfaction on simple Likert or semantic differential scales. Its brevity and conceptual clarity make it useful for rapid assessment in clinical and research settings. | The MSHQ is a multidimensional self-report questionnaire designed to assess sexual function, problems, and satisfaction in men. Developed by Glina and colleagues and first published in 2008, it measures erectile function, ejaculatory function, and overall sexual satisfaction. The MSHQ exists in multiple versions (full form and brief forms) and has become increasingly used in clinical research, particularly in evaluating sexual outcomes in men with prostate cancer and other urologic conditions. |
