خلاصهThe Newton-Raphson method is a powerful iterative technique for solving the nonlinear power flow equations in electrical power systems. Introduced by Tinney and Hart in 1967, it became the industry standard for computing steady-state voltage and power distributions across transmission networks. The method uses Jacobian matrix formulations to rapidly converge to the true operating point.Power System State Estimation (PSSE) is a real-time algorithm that estimates the voltage and phase angle at every bus in a power grid from a set of noisy, redundant measurements. Introduced by Schweppe in 1970, it combines measurements (power flows, voltage magnitudes) with the physical power flow model to produce the most likely system state. State estimation is the foundation of modern grid control centers, providing operators with an accurate digital representation of the actual network.
