Ortogonaalne sagedusjaotusega multipleksimine (OFDM)

OFDM on multikandja modulatsioonitehnika, mis jaotab laiaribalise kanali paljudeks kitsaribalisteks ortogonaalseteks alamkandjateks. Weinstein ja Ebert tutvustasid seda 1971. aastal ning see kasutab aja- ja sagedusruumi duaalsust, et tõhusalt kasutada spektraalala, vähendades samal ajal sümbolitevahelist interferentsi sagedusselektiivsetes kanalites.
