Tarkvara usaldusväärsuse mudel

Tarkvara usaldusväärsuse mudelid ennustavad rikete määrade käitumist testimise ja kasutamise ajal, hinnates, millal tarkvara saavutab nõutavad usaldusväärsuse sihttasemed. Goel ja Okumoto (1979) poolt tutvustatud stohhastilised mudelid kirjeldavad, kuidas defektide avastamise määr väheneb testimise edenedes. Organisatsioonid kasutavad usaldusväärsuse mudeleid, et prognoosida valmidust väljalaskeks, hinnata testimise kestust ja kinnitada kvaliteedi saavutamist.
