Spektraalmeetodid
Spektraalmeetodid on kõrget järku numbrilised tehnikad diferentsiaalvõrrandite lahendamiseks, kasutades globaalseid polünoomarendeid (nt. Fourier' või Legendre'i ridasid) mitte lokaalseid tükiti-polünoome. Steven Orszagi poolt 1960. aastatel turbulentsi simulatsiooniks arendatud meetodid pakuvad siledate probleemide korral eksponentsiaalset koonduvust, muutes need ideaalseks teaduslikuks arvutuseks, kui lahenduse regulaarsus on kõrge.
