k-Core Decomposition

k-Core Decomposition on graafiteoreetiline meetod, mis jaotab võrgu tipud järjestikusteks alagraafideks, mida nimetatakse k-tuumadeks. k-tuum on maksimaalne alagraaf, milles igal tipul on selles alagraafis vähemalt k naabrit. Stephen B. Seidmani 1983. aastal tutvustatud meetod omistab igale tipule tuumsuse numbri, mis kirjeldab selle struktuurset kesksust võrreldes graafi kohaliku ühenduvusega.
