Eneseteadlikud lausete manused treenivad neuraalset kodeerijat, et paigutada laused tihedasse vektoriruumisse ilma käsitsi märgistatud paarideta. Konstrueerides positiivsed näited automaatselt — näiteks läbides sama lause kaks korda läbi dropout'i — ja kasutades kontrastiivseid eesmärke, õpib mudel semantiliselt rikkaid representatsioone, mis kanduvad hästi üle sarnasuse, otsingu ja klassifitseerimise ülesannetesse.
