By treating each person's life story as one analytic case, the approach blends the depth of life history methodology with the comparative rigor of multiple case study logic, producing findings that are both individually rich and cross-case meaningful.	Case study research is a qualitative research design that investigates a specific phenomenon, individual, group, organisation, or event in depth within its real-world context. Systematised by Robert K.
