KokkuvõteDomain-adaptive sentence embeddings extend general-purpose sentence encoders — such as Sentence-BERT — by continuing their training on domain-specific text. The result is a fixed-length vector representation that captures both universal language understanding and the vocabulary, style, and semantic nuances of the target domain, improving downstream NLP tasks such as semantic search, clustering, and classification.Fine-Tuned Sentence Embeddings adapt a general-purpose pre-trained sentence encoder — such as Sentence-BERT — to a specific domain or task by continuing training on labeled or paired text data from that domain. The resulting embeddings capture domain-specific semantic structure far better than off-the-shelf vectors, improving downstream tasks such as semantic similarity, clustering, classification, and retrieval.
