Análisis de Admixture
El análisis de admixture es un método de genética de poblaciones que infiere la estructura poblacional y la ascendencia individual a partir de datos genotípicos multilocus. Desarrollado originalmente por Pritchard, Stephens y Donnelly (2000) y refinado por Alexander, Novembre y Lange (2009), el análisis de admixture revela cómo se distribuye la variación genética entre las poblaciones y estima las fracciones de ascendencia de individuos mezclados. Esta técnica es esencial para comprender la historia evolutiva humana, detectar la estratificación poblacional en estudios genéticos e inferir la ascendencia individual.
