ResumenMultiplex network analysis studies systems where the same set of nodes is connected by multiple distinct types of relationships, each represented as a separate network layer. By analyzing layers simultaneously rather than in isolation, it reveals how different relation types interact, reinforce each other, or compensate for one another across the same actors or entities.Social Network Analysis (SNA) is a structural method that maps and measures relationships and flows between people, groups, organizations, or other entities modeled as nodes connected by ties (edges). Rather than focusing on individual attributes, SNA reveals how the pattern of connections shapes behavior, influence, information flow, and outcomes within a system.
