It assesses functional aspects of social relationships—emotional, informational, tangible, and social companionship support—relevant to health outcomes in diverse populations. The Duke Health Profile (DUKE) is a 17-item self-report measure of health-related quality of life developed by Parkerson and colleagues at Duke University in 1989.
