ResumenLongitudinal Biographical Research (LBR) is a qualitative approach that combines in-depth biographical or narrative interviewing with a repeated, time-extended data-collection design. Participants are interviewed at multiple time points — sometimes years apart — so that researchers can trace how individuals construct, revise, and re-narrate their life stories as circumstances change. The method captures both the content of life histories and the dynamic process through which meaning is made and remade over time.Grounded Theory (GT) is a systematic qualitative research methodology in which theory emerges directly from data through iterative analysis, rather than being imposed before data collection. Developed by Barney Glaser and Anselm Strauss in 1967, GT prioritizes generating explanatory frameworks grounded in evidence.
