By grouping observation sessions into blocks — such as days, weeks, or settings — and ensuring phase transitions align to block boundaries, the design isolates the effect of an intervention on an individual participant's repeated behavior measures more rigorously than an unblocked ABA. | The multiple baseline design is a single-subject experimental design that demonstrates functional control by introducing an intervention at staggered time points across two or more baselines — typically across different behaviors, individuals, or settings.
