Das lokale Geary's C ist ein lokaler Indikator für räumliche Assoziation (LISA), der für jeden Standort misst, wie unähnlich sein Wert zu dem seiner unmittelbaren Nachbarn ist. Im Gegensatz zum lokalen Moran's I, das die Clusterbildung ähnlicher Werte erkennt, konzentriert sich das lokale Geary's C auf quadrierte Wertdifferenzen und ist besonders empfindlich für lokale räumliche Ausreißer und lokale Heterogenität.
