Zusammenfassung	The NPSI is a 12-item self-report questionnaire specifically designed to assess and quantify the diverse symptoms characteristic of neuropathic pain. Developed by Bouhassira and colleagues in 2004, it evaluates five distinct symptom dimensions: burning pain, pressing pain, paroxysmal pain, evoked pain, and paresthesias. The SS-QoL is a disease-specific quality-of-life instrument designed to capture the multidimensional impact of stroke on survivors' functional and emotional well-being. Developed by Williams and colleagues in 1999, this 49-item scale addresses stroke-specific concerns including language, cognition, mobility, and emotional functioning.
