ZusammenfassungMedia richness analysis applies Daft and Lengel's media richness theory to evaluate communication channels by their capacity to carry rich information and to assess how well a channel fits the equivocality of the task at hand. Rooted in organizational communication, it provides criteria — feedback immediacy, multiplicity of cues, language variety, and personal focus — for ranking channels from lean (a memo) to rich (face-to-face) and for diagnosing whether managers and teams are matching channel to message appropriately.Content analysis is a systematic research technique for reducing text, visual, or media material into coded categories so that patterns can be counted, compared, and interpreted. Formalised by Klaus Krippendorff in his widely cited methodology textbook (latest edition 2018), the method sits at the boundary of qualitative and quantitative inquiry: it imposes structured, replicable coding on inherently meaning-laden material.
