ZusammenfassungThe Clarke Hypoglycemia Awareness Questionnaire is an 8-item instrument designed to identify patients with impaired hypoglycemia awareness—a condition in which diabetic patients fail to perceive early warning symptoms of low blood glucose, substantially increasing their risk of severe hypoglycemia. Developed by Clarke and colleagues in 1995, it is the most widely used screening tool for this dangerous complication in type 1 diabetes and in insulin-treated type 2 diabetes populations. The AGHDA is a 25-item disease-specific quality of life questionnaire designed to assess the burden of adult growth hormone (GH) deficiency. Developed by Hunt, Werther, and colleagues in 2000, it evaluates symptoms and functional impairments directly related to GH deficiency, including fatigue, reduced muscle strength, weight gain, and psychological difficulties. The instrument is widely used in endocrinology practice and clinical trials to quantify the impact of GH replacement therapy.
