Online Mobile Experience Sampling — Indfangning af oplevelser i realtid via smartphone

Online Mobile Experience Sampling (Online ESM) er en dataindsamlingsteknik, der anvender internetforbundne smartphones eller tablets til at bede deltagere om at besvare spørgsmål flere gange dagligt og registrere deres tanker, følelser, adfærd og kontekst i det øjeblik, de opstår. Ved at indsamle data i realtid på tværs af dagliglivet i stedet for retrospektivt i et laboratorium, reduceres hukommelsesbias dramatisk og den naturlige variation af psykologiske og adfærdsmæssige tilstande fanges, som de udfolder sig.
