Multiple Case-Based Constructivist Grounded Theory

Multiple case-based constructivist grounded theory (CGT) kombinerer Kathy Charmaz's konstruktivistiske grounded theory-ramme med et bevidst multi-case-design. Forskeren indsamler og analyserer data fra to eller flere formålsvalgte cases samtidigt, anvender iterativ kodning, konstant sammenligning og teoretisk sampling på tværs af cases for at opbygge en grounded theory, der forklarer både dybde inden for hver case og variation på tværs af cases. Den resulterende teori forstås som en fælles konstruktion mellem forsker og deltagere snarere end en objektiv opdagelse.
