Bayesiansk k-Nærmeste Naboer (Bayesian KNN) udvider den klassiske KNN-algoritme ved at placere en apriori-fordeling over nabolagsstørrelsen k og kombinere sandsynlighedsbevis fra naboer med denne apriori for at producere kalibrerede posteriore klasse-sandsynligheder. Den bevarer KNN's intuitive instansbaserede logik, samtidig med at den tilføjer principiel kvantificering af usikkerhed over forudsigelser.
