Bayesiansk Rodårsagsanalyse — Sandsynlighedsbaseret Kausal Inferens til Fejlefterforskning

Bayesiansk Rodårsagsanalyse (Bayesian RCA) integrerer Bayesiansk netværksteori med struktureret rodårsagsefterforskning for at kvantificere sandsynligheden for, at hver kandidatårsag er ansvarlig for en observeret fejl eller uønsket hændelse. I modsætning til deterministiske RCA-metoder udbreder den usikkerhed gennem den kausale graf, opdaterer antagelser, efterhånden som evidens akkumuleres, og rangerer konkurrerende hypoteser efter posterior sandsynlighed – hvilket giver et principielt, reviderbart grundlag for korrigerende handling.
